Two years ago, we began a Car Donation program because we felt it was a natural extension of our Auto Detail business. It's been a great success … thanks to you, our supporters…. not only because it raises money for Step 13 but cleaning and fixing up the cars also helps employ our residents.

We've received everything from the 1966 Land Rover above to this 1986 Honda Accord below. The donor drove the Accord in but we had to work on the Rover to get it to run. We will do mechanical work if it makes economic sense.

We also have a detail shop on premises where we wax and wet vac your car. Once we're done, we sell your donated vehicles or give them to poor families who cross our path.

Finally, we'll send you a copy of the title, the sales receipt and a donation slip with the actual value. It's win-win. You give us something you're not using and we turn it into jobs and funding for our program. If your car can be driven you can bring it to us at 2029 Larimer Street or we'll swing by and pick it up. All we need is a signed title. We also have a volunteer tow driver, Bill, who'll come haul it away if your vehicle won't run.

Each donation provides about 14 jobs. We consider that great mileage for any model gift!
